Abstract

Komunikacija djece specifična je i drugačija od komunikacije odraslih. Način na koji komuniciraju i mogućnost komunikacije s drugima ovisi o stupnju njihova općeg razvoja i razvoja komunikacijskih vještina. S obzirom na situaciju u kojoj se nalaze djeca svoju komunikaciju prilagođavaju, ovisno o tome radi li se o komunikaciji s vršnjacima, odgajateljima ili roditeljima. Na različite načine izražavaju svoje misli, potrebe i osjećaje. Tako je i komunikacija djece različitih dobnih uzrasta drugačija i prema svojim karakteristikama specifična za svaku pojedinu dob djeteta. Tema rada je analizirati komunikaciju djece ranih i starijih predškolskih uzrasta te istaknuti razlike u njihovoj verbalnoj i neverbalnoj komunikaciji. Usporedbom literatura istražila sam karakteristike verbalne i neverbalne komunikacije djece, komunikaciju odgajatelja koja ima veliku ulogu u razvoju komunikacijskih vještina djece, načine i razlike komunikacije djece rane predškolske i starije predškolske dobi, te važnost poticanja razvoja komunikacijskih vještina za dječji govorni i opći razvoj. Poznavanjem razlika u komunikaciji djece doprinijet ćemo njihovom bolje razvoju. Važno je stoga osvijestiti buduće odgajatelje, ali i one koji to već jesu, o važnosti razvoja komunikacijskih vještina kako za pravilan i kvalitetan razvoj djece tako i za njihov osobni rast i razvoj.

Abstract (english)

The communication of children is specific and different than adult communication. The way they communicate and their ability to communicate with others depends on the stage of their general growth and development of communication skills. Depending on the situation they are currently in, and whether they are surrounder by their parents, pears or educators, children adjust their way of communicating, which is manifested in various ways of expressing their thoughts, needs and feelings. Likewise, communication between children of different of different ages varies and by its means is different for every age group. The subject of this paper is to analyse the communication between children of young and older preschool ages and to point out their verbal and nonverbal differences. By comparing different literatures, I have researched the characteristics of verbal and nonverbal communication between children, together with characteristics of an educator’s communication, which has a significant role in development of a child’s communication skills. I have also researched the ways children of young and older preschool ages communicate and their differences, together with the importance of encouraging the development of a child’s communication skills for their conversational and general growth. By knowing the differences of children’s communication we will contribute to their better development. Therefore it is important to enlighten future educators together with those who already are about the importance of communication skills development, for both a higher quality education of children and a better personal growth and development.
