Abstract

U ovom radu naglasak je stavljen na ključnu ulogu obitelji za razvoj djetetovih kognitivnih i socioemocionalnih sposobnosti. Sukobi roditelja, kao i razvod braka, negativno utječu na djetetov razvoj. Cilj ovog rada bio je objasniti što je to razvod, koje su posljedicerazvoda i na koji način razvod braka roditelja utječe na djecu.Zbog nedostatka istraživanja utjecaja razvoda braka na djecu u Hrvatskoj, cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati povezanost razvoda roditelja i nekih indikatora psihološkog dobrostanja u odrasloj dobi. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 164 sudionika, od koji je 129 (79%) bilo žena, a 35 (21%) muškaraca. Grupa kojoj su se roditelji rastali dok su bili djeca u daljnjoj obradi sastojala se od 31 osobe. Korišten je upitnik kojise sastojao od Skale zadovoljstva životom, Skale psihološkog procvata i Kratke skale otpornosti. Rezultati su pokazali da se grupa ispitanika kojima su se roditelji rastali dok su bili djeca i grupa ispitanika kojima se roditelji nisu rastali dok su bili djeca ne razlikuju statistički značajno niti u jednom pokazatelju psihološke dobrobiti niti otpornosti.

Abstract (english)

In this work the emphasis is put on the crucial role of the familyfor the development of child's cognitive and socio-emotional abilities.The parents' conflicts, as well as divorce, negatively affecton child development.The purpose of this work was to explain what the divorce is, what are the consequences of divorce and on what way the divorce of parents affect to children.Due to the lack of researchesabout impact of divorce on children in Croatia,the aim of this research was toexamine the relationship between the parents' divorce and some indicators of psychological well-being in adulthood.There were 164 participants, od whom 129 (79%) were women, and 35 (21%) man.The group whose parents had been divorced while they were children for further processing consisted of 31 people.The questionnaire used consisted ofThe satisfaction with life scale, The flourishing scale and The brief resilience scale. The results showed that group of respondents whose parents divorced while they were children and group of respondents whose parents did not divorced while they were children don't difffer statistically significant in any psychological well-being or resistance indicator.
