Abstract

Temu „Pretilost djece predškolske dobi“ odabrala sam zbog toga što je posljednjih godina porast pretile djece sve veći, kako u svijetu tako i u Hrvatskoj. Pretilost je problem kojega potiče genetski i stečeni uzrok . Nedovoljno kretanje, loša i nezdrava prehrana i utjecaj medija samo su neki od najčešćih uzroka ove bolesti. Cilj ovog rada bio je osvijestiti ljude, roditelje, o problemu koji se intenzivno širi i koji je sve zastupljeniji u ranom odgoju djece. U borbi protiv pretilosti trebale bi se provoditi prevencije već kod trudnica. Roditelji se trebaju educirati o važnosti zdrave prehrane te o sportskim aktivnostima. Ovim radom potičem roditelje i djecu na važnost pravilnog izbora prehrane, zdravih namirnica, pravilnom količinom unosa vode, te ograničiti unos slatkiša, sokova i brze hrane.

Abstract (english)

The topic of „Obesity of children in preschool age“ was chosen because of the increase in obesity in the last few years, both in the world and in Croatia. Obesity is a problem that triggers both genetic and acquired causes. Insufficient movement, bad and unhealthy diet and the influence of the media are just some of the most common causes of this disease. The aim of this article was to inform people, parents about the problem that is expanding and becoming more and more prevalent during the childhood development. The fight against obesity should begin already in the early stages of pregnancy. Parents should be educated about the importance ofhealthy eating and sports activities. With this work I would like to bring the awareness to parents about the importance of proper dietary choices, healthy food, the right amount ofdaily water intake, and to encourage them to limit the intake of sweets, juices and fast food as much as possible.
