Abstract

Proces razvoja u 20. st. zahvatio je i sustav ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja.
Počele su se javljati nove alternativne pedagogije od kojih su neke izdvojene u ovom radu.
Sve alternativne koncepcije temelje svoj rad na istraživanjima stvarnih vrijednosti koji su u
interesu dječjeg zanimanja i postignuća. U radu su predstavljene samo neke od alternativnih
koncepcija, njihov povijesni razvoj, njihovi utemeljitelji, koncepcije odgoja, načela te
specifičnosti koje ih određuju i po kojima su prepoznatljive. Svaka od predstavljenih
koncepcija na prvo mjesto stavlja dijete, njegove potrebe, potencijale i razvoj u skladu sa
njegovim mogućnostima. Predstavljene su alternativne koncepcije koje su zastupljene i u
Hrvatskoj, a najraširenija je Montessori koncepcija a nakon nje Waldorfska. U radu se
spominje i Agazzi metoda i Reggio koncepcija. Iako svaka pedagogija ima svoja posebna
načela, sve imaju jedan cilj a to je zadovoljenje djetetovih individualnih potreba te njegova
osobna dobrobit.

Abstract (english)

The process of development in the 20th century has also affected the system of early and
preschool education. New alternative pedagogies began to emerge, some of which have been
singled out in this paper. All the alternative ideas base their work on research into real values
that are in the best interest of the child’s objectives and achievements. This paper presents
only some of the alternative concepts, their past development, their founders, the concepts of
education, principles and specifics that define them and by which they are recognizable. Each
of the presented concepts places the child, their needs, potential and development following
their abilities in the first place. Alternative conceptions have been presented, which are also
represented in Croatia. The most widespread is the Montessori conception, followed by the
Waldorf conception. This paper also mentions the Agazzi method and the Reggio concept.
Although each pedagogy has its own special principles, they all have one goal and that is to
meet the child's individual needs and their personal well-being.
