Abstract

Igra značajno utječe na dječji rast i razvoj. To je prirodna aktivnost djeteta putem koje se dijete oslobađa, izražava, razvija, bogati svoju spoznaju te uči. Kroz igru dijete istražuje prostor i svoje okruženje, a na odgojitelju je da mu ponudi dovoljno poticajnih materijala koji ga potiču na istraživanje i učenje. Odgojitelj je kompetentni pojedinac koji svojim znanjem, maštom i kreativnošću osigurava prostor za dijete koji je pogodan za optimalni rast i razvoj. Aktivnim sudjelovanjem u dječjoj igri, odgojitelj razvija međuodnose s djetetom, razvija komunikaciju, partnerski odnos te jača kompetencije djeteta. Ovaj rad bavi se ulogom odgojitelja u dječjoj igri te prikazuje kako igra, odgojitelj i poticajno okruženje utječu na razvoj djece. Odgojitelj svojim djelovanjem i ponašanjem utječe na cjelokupni rast i razvoj djece. Cilj rada je prikazati načine putem kojih igra utječe na dijete te koja je njena uloga u životu djeteta. Želi se potaknuti odgojitelje da budu suigrači u dječjoj igri, da rade u najboljem interesu djece, da kontinuirano promatraju dječju igru, ali i reflektiraju svoju odgojno-obrazovnu praksu.

Abstract (english)

Play significantly affects a child`s growth and development. It is a natural activity of the child through which he liberates, expresses, develops, enriches his knowledge and learns. Through play, the child explores the space and his environment and it is on the educator to offer him enough stimulating materials that encourage him to explore and learn. An educator is a competent individual who, whit his knowledge, imagination and creativity provides a space for a child that is suitable for optimal growth and development. By actively participating in children`s play the educator develops relationship whit the child, develops communication, partnership and strengthens the child`s competencies. iThis paper deals with the role of educators in children`s play and shows how play, educator and stimulating enviroment affect children`s development. The educator influences the overall growth and development of children through hid actions and behavior. The aim of this paper is to show the ways in which play affects the child and what its role is in the child`s life. The purpose is to encourage educators to be teammates in children`s play, to work in the best interests of children, to continuously observe children/s play but also to reflect on their educational practice.
