Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je prikazati mogućnosti problemskog pristupa rješavanja zadataka na dodatnoj nastavi matematike u četvrtom razredu osnovne škole. Prikazani su matematički modeli rješavanja problema. Analizirani su kurikularni dokumenti u Republici Hrvatskoj u odnosu na pojam problemski pristup i rješavanje problema. Definirana je dodatna nastava matematike, uloga učitelja u njoj te karakteristike matematički darovite djece. Prikazane su i neke od specifičnih metoda rješavanja problemskih zadataka koji su popraćeni primjerima s natjecanja iz matematike. Osim objašnjenja pojedine metode dan je i primjer za primjenu iste prema Poylinim stupnjevima rješavanja problemskih zadataka.
Osim teorijskog dijela, rad sadrži i popis zbirki zadataka za dodatnu nastavu matematike u četvrtom razredu te analizu ukupno šest zbirki. Naglasak analize stavljen na mogućnost korištenja posebnih metoda rješavanja problemskih zadataka, koje su opisane u teorijskom dijelu rada. Analiza je pokazala kako u zbirkama uglavnom dominiraju tekstualni zadaci, dok je najmanje numeričkih. Ni u jednoj zbirci nije pronađen zadatak s više točnih odgovora, odnosno zadatak otvorenog tipa, već svi zadaci imaju konačan broj rješenja. Sve analizirane zbirke sadrže zadatke u kojima je moguća primjena teorijski opisanih metoda rješavanja problemskih zadataka.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this final thesis is to present the possibilities of a problem-based approach to solving problems in Math enrichment program in the fourth grade of primary school. There are presented mathematical problem-solving models. Curricular documents in the Republic of Croatia are analyzed in relation to the concept of problem approach and problem-solving. Math enrichment program is defined, as well as the role of teachers in it and the characteristics of mathematically gifted children. Some of the specific methods of problem-solving tasks are also presented, which are accompanied by examples from mathematics competitions. Besides the explanation of each method, an example is given for its implementation towards Polya's problem-solving stages.
Except the theoretical part, this final paper also contains a list of textbooks with tasks for Math enrichment program in the fourth grade and an analysis of a total of six textbooks. The emphasis of the analysis is placed on the possibility of using special methods of problem-solving tasks, which are described in the theoretical part of the final paper. The analysis showed that the textbooks are mostly dominated by textual tasks, while there are less numerical ones. No multi-correct answers or open-ended tasks were found in any of the textbooks, but all tasks have a finite number of solutions. All analyzed textbooks contain tasks in which it is possible to apply the theoretically described methods of problem-solving tasks.
