Abstract

Tjelesna aktivnost je vrlo važna za pravilan rast i razvoj djece predškolske dobi. Kako bi dijete bilo dovoljno tjelesno aktivno, važno je osvijestiti prednosti kretanja. Za potrebe ovog rada provedeno je anketno istraživanje o dnevnoj tjelesnoj aktivnosti djece vrtićke dobi, osviještenosti roditelja o važnosti kretanja djece te o opremljenosti predškolskih ustanova za provođenje sata tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture. Anketa je provedena putem interneta te je bila namijenjena za roditelje, odgajatelje i studente Ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja. Rezultati su pokazali kako je većina djece tjelesno aktivna više sati dnevno. Također, kroz odgovore se pokazalo da roditelji shvaćaju važnost i prednosti tjelesnog vježbanja te da potiču djecu na tjelesnu aktivnost. Ispitanici smatraju dječje vrtiće nedovoljno opremljenima materijalima za rad te ne pružaju dovoljno kad je riječ o kineziološkim sadržajima. Izuzetno je važno i dalje podizati svijest odgojiteljima u predškolskim ustanovama i roditeljima o dobrobiti tjelesnog vježbanja.

Abstract (english)

Physical activity is very important for the proper growth and development of preschool-age children. For children to achieve a substantial level of physical activity, it is important to enlighten their parents and educators of its benefits. Therefore, for the purposes of this paper, an online survey was conducted on the amount of daily physical activity of children of kindergarten age, parents' awareness of the importance of children's movement and the equipment of preschool institutions to conduct physical education classes. The survey was led online and was intended for parents, educators and students of Early and Preschool Education. The results indicate that most children are physically active for several hours a day. Also, the answers presented that parents understand the importance and benefits of physical exercise and that they encourage children to be physically active. It turned out that the respondents still believe that kindergartens are not sufficiently prepared with necessary equipment and do not provide as much as they should when it comes to kinesiological facilities. It is extremely important to continue to raise awareness among preschool educators and parents about the benefits of physical exercise.
