Abstract

Cilj je ovog rada predstaviti projekt Dijete u središtu i jedan od njegovih produkta: Spomenik djetetu, koji je postavljen ispred zgrade Učiteljskog fakulteta u Zagrebu. Kako bi kontekst rada bio jasniji, bilo je potrebno opisati kiparstvo kao vrstu umjetnosti. Osim toga, u radu se nalazi i kratak pregled povijesti hrvatskog kiparstva, kako bi se dobila šira slika o tome koliki utjecaj i važnost kiparstvo, a pogotovo kiparstvo javnog prostora ima. Budući da je predmet rada, (Spomenik djetetu) brončana skulptura koja je nastala po uzoru na dječji rad, radi boljeg razumijevanja opisane su kiparske tehnike koje se koriste u radu s djecom te koliko je važna uloga odgojitelja u procesu dječjeg likovnog izražavanja. Kroz intervju sa odgojiteljicom djevojčice čiji je rad izabran na Natječaju za izbor idejnog rješenja za Spomenik djetetu saznaje se o metodičkim postupcima i organizaciji likovnih aktivnosti pri oblikovanju tog idejnog rješenja. Na samom je kraju rada opisan nastanak i razvoj projekta Dijete u središtu te shodno tome i intervju sa zaposlenikom Ljevaonice ALU koja je lijevala Spomenik djetetu. U intervjuu se saznaje općenito o lijevanju brončanih skulptura te o suradnji s Fakultetom. Zaključno, Spomenik djetetu unikatna je skulptura kojoj je cilj ukazati na važnost djece za razvoj društva.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this paper is to present the Child in the Center project and one of its products: the Monument to a child, which was placed in front of the building of the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb. To make the context of the work clearer, it was necessary to describe sculpture as a type of art. In addition, the paper also contains a brief overview of the history of Croatian sculpture, so to get a broader picture of the influence and importance of sculpture, and especially the sculpture of public spaces. Since the subject of this paper (Monument to a child) is a bronze sculpture modeled after a child’s art project, the sculptural techniques used in working with children are described in a chapter, and so is the importance of educators in the process of children's artistic expression. Through an interview with the preschool teacher of the girl whose work was selected in the Competition for the selection of the conceptual solution for the Monument to the Child, one learns about the methodical procedures and the organization of art activities in the design of that conceptual solution. At the very end of this paper, the origin and development of the Child in the Center project is described, and an interview is conducted with an employee of the ALU Foundry, which cast the Monument to the Child. In the interview, it is learned in general about the casting of bronze sculptures and about cooperation with the Faculty. In conclusion, the Monument to a Child is a unique sculpture whose goal is to point out the importance of children for the development of society.
