Abstract

Svjesni smo kako djeca u današnje vrijeme žive sjedilačkim načinom života, manje se kreću, borave na svježem zraku te provode bilo kakvu kineziološku aktivnost. Potrebno je djecu od najranije dobi osvijestiti i u njima probuditi želju za tjelesnom aktivnosti.
U pisanju ovog rada pozornost sam posvetila tome kako tjelesno vježbanje utječe na dječji organizam . Cilj je ovoga rada dati doprinos malo istraženom području utjecaja tjelesne aktivnosti na djecu jasličke dobi te ispitati iskustva odgojitelja o tjelesnim aktivnostima za djecu jasličke dobi i predškolskog uzrasta.
U uvodnome dijelu rada govori se o razvojnim obilježjima djece rane i predškolske dobi. U središnjem dijelu rada naglasak je stavljen na dosadašnja istraživanja i teorijski dio o vrstama kinezioloških aktivnosti za djecu rane i predškolske dobi te o okruženju za provođenje kinezioloških aktivnosti. Detaljnije se govori o poticanju tjelesnog razvoja djece i utjecaju tjelesne aktivnosti na djecu jasličke dobi.
Istraživanje je provedeno temeljem anketnog upitnika, a pokazalo je kako tjelesne aktivnosti za djecu jasličke dobi baš i nisu zastupljene u hrvatskim vrtićima zbog nedosatatka adekvatnog prostora i opreme koja je primjerena za njihov uzrast.

Abstract (english)

We are aware that children today live a sedentary life; they are less active, spend less time outside, and rarely carry out any kinesiological activities. It is necessary to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity during children’s earliest years.
This paper focuses on the effects that physical activity has on children’s organism. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the insufficiently researched area of the physical activity’s impact on toddlers and preschoolers.
The introduction covers the topic of developmental features of toddlers and preschoolers. The main part of the paper focuses on the current research done on this topic, as well as the theoretical framework of the kinesiological activity of toddlers and preschoolers and the environment for performing kinesiological activities. The main part also goes into greater detail on encouragement of physical activity and the effects of physical activity on toddlers.
The research was conducted using a survey which showed that physical activity for toddlers is not implemented in Croatian kindergartens because of the shortage of adequate space and equipment suited for children’s age.
