Abstract

U primjeni tjelesne aktivnosti s djecom s posebnim potrebama, izbor sadržaja kao i njihova priprema ovisi o individualnim mogućnostima djeteta. U ovom radu obuhvaćena su djeca s oštećenjem vida, sluha, djeca s motoričkim poremećajima, s intelektualnim teškoćama, djeca koja imaju deficit pažnje i/ili hiperaktivni poremećaj, te djeca s autizmom. Svaki poremećaj u razvoju djeteta zahtijeva individualan pristup, određeno znanje i vještine odgajatelja kako bi mogao organizirati kvalitetno provođenje tjelesnih aktivnosti. Redovita tjelesna aktivnost neophodna je za razvoj i održavanje normalne mišićne jakosti, fleksibilnosti i drugih motoričkih sposobnosti koje mogu usporiti pogoršanje funkcionalnosti pokreta i povećati samostalnost kod djece s posebnim potrebama. Važnu ulogu u provođenju tjelesne aktivnosti s djecom s posebnim potrebama imaju odgajatelji koji djecu motiviraju, uključuju ih u zajednicu svojih vršnjaka, pružaju im sigurnost i podršku.

Abstract (english)

Content selection and good preparation of physical activity excercises, which depend on individual capabilities of a child, play the key role while handling children with special needs. This study takes into account children with impaired hearing and eyesight, motor skills disturbances, children with mental illnesses, children with short attention span, hyperactive children and children with autism. Every disorder listed above calls for individual approach, educated and skillfull teachers, in order to provide quality physical activity. Regular physical activity is important to develop and maintain muscular structure, flexibility and motor skills, which help with everyday activities of children with special needs. Teachers hold the key role in this process, they motivate children, help them socialise with their peers, provide them support and security.
